A cat's life may be wonderful, but even the happiest of cats will be curious to know what's hidden behind the walls of their garden! In this game, players take on the role of cats exploring the city. As the deck is explored, the cats will find food, friends and special gifts... But be careful not to stay too late: you might get lost in the streets of Kyoto!

In this game you compete for coveted double-sided cards that show buildings, goods, ships, or palace actions on one side and a colored die value on the other. Always keep an eye on your opponents' actions and plans because what they would like to build could instead be useful to you as a dice card. Although perhaps you want to acquire another building yourself and increase your fame...provided...

The Season of the Bear expansion offers three advanced play modes that can be added to the game Leaf. Animal Allies give each player a unique ability they can use throughout the game. Season Events add extra scoring conditions to each Frost. The Greater Animals affect the whole forest, giving each player an effect they can use once per game.
