Disney Lorcana is a collectible card game (TCG) where players take on the role of wizards called "Illumineers" who use magical ink to summon characters and objects from the Disney universe. The goal of the game is to be the first to earn 20 "Lore" points (story points), either by collecting points during the game or by other means, such as overloading your opponent's deck. The game combines card collecting, strategy, and popular Disney characters in one deck.
Each Disney Lorcana starter deck contains everything a player needs to start playing against another player who has their own deck. These decks introduce players to the rich story and diverse characters of Disney Lorcana.
There are two starter decks available for the Whispers in the Well set. Each deck, which can be played immediately after unboxing, contains 60 cards of two different inks, each with its own play style. These are combinations of amber ink with emerald (Simba & Megara) and sapphire with steel (Judy Hopps & Robin Hood).
