Module 5: Economy allows you and the other players to buy and sell shares in aviation and space companies, whose value is tracked in a table called the stock exchange. The players themselves are customers of these companies, and the more customers a given service has, the more capital the company can raise and the higher the value of its shares. If you own the most shares in a given company, you are its chairman and decide whether dividends will be paid to shareholders or whether the funds will be reinvested into the company’s capital, which will allow it to provide cheaper services. Players buy shares in companies whose value is likely to rise and sell them when they could put their money to better use elsewhere. Since shares are very easy to buy and sell and retain their value even after Aqua goes bankrupt, holding shares is generally more advantageous than holding Aqua.
