Product detailed description
In the second volume of the Sandman omnibus, Morpheus sets out with his unpredictable sister Delirium to search for his long-lost brother. But this journey will not be easy, especially when Morpheus must once again meet his son Orpheus. This encounter will change everything once and for all... and definitely not for the better.
Signs of the approaching end are everywhere—even as people imprisoned by the storm in the mysterious tavern End of Worlds tell remarkable stories of their lives. Or when a young woman's child disappears and she turns to the Well-Meaning Ones with a plea for revenge.
The finale of one of the greatest fantasy stories is approaching! As in the first volume of the omnibus, translator Viktor Janiš has returned to his texts and carefully revised them. Sandman omnibus, part two contains: Short stories: "Fear of Falling" (from VERTIGO PREVIEW No. 1), "Flowers of Love" (from VERTIGO: WINTER'S EDGE No. 1), "How They Met Themselves" (from VERTIGO: WINTER'S EDGE No. 3), “The Castle” (from VERTIGO JAM #1), “The Last Story with Sandman” (from the book DUST COVERS: THE COLLECTED SANDMAN COVERS 1989-1996). Then there are the rest of the stories from Sandman 6: Myths and Reflections II and the entire books Sandman 7: Short Lives, Sandman 8: End of Worlds, Sandman 9: The Kindly Ones, and Sandman 10: A Sigh of Relief.
