Product detailed description
Cthulhu by Gaslight takes the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game to the fog-shrouded streets of Great Britain and beyond. This book is designed for Keepers—those who will be running the game.
Extensive advice for bringing the 1890s setting to life, including the Gazetteer of Fear—over 100 locations across Britain and beyond! The book also includes detailed information on villainous organizations and occult societies such as the Secrets of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn
The Cthulhu by Gaslight: Keeper’s Guide includes rules for Monsters and Mythos elements unique to 1890s Britain. Inside, you’ll also find new occult-based skills, tomes, spells, and rules for combat upon the astral plane!
Cthulhu by Gaslight is a stand-alone version of Call of Cthulhu. Only the core Cthulhu by Gaslight: Investigator’s Guide and Cthulhu by Gaslight: Keeper’s Guide are required to play!
In addition to many scenario seeds to help spark all-new Cthulhu by Gaslight stories of your own design, the book includes two introductory scenarios, both designed for players new to the setting.
During the summer of 1890, the investigators are drawn into a mystery surrounding a cursed family, and must seek out a lost gem and uncover the truth behind multiple haunted sites.
In the heart of London’s Victorian slums, a gruesome death sees the investigators potentially infected with disease. As they explore events surrounding the death, they will uncover something lurking beneath London.
